VIDEO: Dimitar Berbatov joins United's "50+ Club"
Dimitar Berbatov last night became the latest member of an exclusive Old Trafford club - The 50+ Club.
The Bulgarian striker's goal at Craven Cottage was his 50th for the Old Trafford club (51 if you include his Community Shield goal against Chelsea in 2010) and made him the 50th player to join the 50+ list at Old Trafford.
It took Berbatov five games before he found the back of the net for United, scoring twice at Aalborg in the Champions League back in September 2008, but since then he's been a regular scorer for Sir Alex Ferguson's side whenever he's been played in the first team.
More recently his appearances have been reduced to cameos from the substitute's bench, but when called upon the Bulgarian hitman has often delivered the goods in front of goal. His 50 goals came from just 103 starts (37 substitute appearances) for United and see him joining an illustrious list featuring a host of legends from United's past, plus one or two of his dressing room colleagues, too.
