Trio competing to call the Shots Wilko Risser, Darren Murphy and Ben Smith are all competing to make their Aldershot debuts against Hereford.

Namibia international striker Risser, a free agent, signed a short-term contract on Monday and goes straight into manager Dean Holdsworth's squad for the npower League Two clash.

Midfielder Murphy arrived on a month's loan from Stevenage on Friday but was denied his bow at the weekend following the postponement of the clash at Crawley due to a frozen pitch.

Smith, meanwhile, was brought in on loan at the end of January but is yet to make his debut due to the recent cold snap, although he would have been ineligible at the weekend in any case having arrived from Crawley.

Defender Sonny Bradley is available after extending his stay from Hull, while Holdsworth has no new injuries among his squad.

However, midfielder Alex Rodman continues to miss out after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, with striker Michael Rankine is also sidelined for the rest of the campaign due to a leg injury.

Benoit Dalibard will play no part for Hereford after having been forced back to the sidelines.

The left-back, making his return to action after a three-match suspension, lasted just 23 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw against high-flying Cheltenham before being forced off clutching his hamstring, an injury which curtailed his involvement earlier in the season.

The versatile Rob Purdie could now revert to full-back once again having been pushed into midfield at the weekend, while manager Jamie Pitman has the option of using fit-again Simon Clist, who returned to the bench versus the Robins after a groin problem.

Madjo fires Shots to victory Guy Madjo's first goal for Aldershot proved enough to secure the Hampshire club a first home win since December 10 against 10-man Hereford.

The former Stevenage striker reacted quickest early in the second half to fire home from two yards after the Bulls had failed to deal with a bobbling ball.

Centre-back Michael Townsend was then given his marching orders just after the hour mark for pulling down Danny Hylton as the visitors' relegation woes increased.

The best chance of a turgid first half was a sliced Ben Purkiss clearance which was headed off the line by Hereford team-mate Simon Clist five minutes before the break.

Hylton had earlier saved the Shots as he cleared Lyle Taylor's goalbound header, before Yoann Arquin wastefully blasted over.
