Barnsley 1-2 Sheffield United: Beattie's a double diamond

Hitman James Beattie may have taken the goal-scoring limelight, but controversial ref Andy D'Urso took the flak in this ding-dong South Yorkshire derby.
There was no disputing D'Urso's decision to red-card both Blades' defender Ugo Ehiogu and Barnsley's Argentine defender Anderson de Silva for attempting to head-butt each other after just 30 minutes.
But the ref's belated decision to award Sheffield United a contentious spot-kick, netted by Beattie six minutes from time, sparked off the fireworks.
Barnsley boss Simon Davey wanted to celebrate his 100th game in charge with another South Yorkshire derby scalp.
Instead, he was banished to the stands for arguing with the linesman who had flagged after judging that former Blades' defender Rob Kozluk had handled.
Referee D'Urso had played on, but then consulted his linesman, awarded a penalty and red-carded Davey for what he said to his official.
Blades' boss Kevin Blackwell said: "It was a nailed-on penalty. We saw Kozzy control the ball with his hand.
"So, thanks to the linesman for bringing it to the ref's attention."
But Davey blasted: "I've never experienced a linesmanin the other half giving a penalty decision. He was behind me and the ref, who was only 10 yards away, was playing on."
Beattie had swept home his sixth of his injury-hit season after 20 minutes, following a great move.
Barnsley had their moments and substitute Kayode Odejayi pulled one back with a header with three minutes remaining.
