Borderers look for home comforts Berwick welcome back Steve Notman from suspension as they look to keep their promotion play-off hopes alive by seeing off fourth-placed Annan.

Kevin McDonald remains unavailable due to a ban of his own while on-loan defender Stephen Tulloch is again absent due to injury, but Livingston loanee Ross Gray should shake off a knock to feature.

Borderers manager Ian Little said: "We have picked up four points from our last two away games at Alloa and Clyde and that is not a bad return but we have to start winning at home again.

"We have not done that for a couple of months and if we are to challenge for promotion we have to win at home, particularly against sides above us." Annan themselves see the return of defender Aaron Muirhead from suspension as they search for their first win in six attempts.

Striker Graeme Bell remains sidelined with a groin injury and Bryan Gilfillan looks set to miss out due to a calf problem, with defender Scott Gibson also ruled out through work commitments.

Galabank manager Harry Cairney said: "I watched Berwick in midweek at Clyde and after a shaky start they played well. They have a lot of attacking strength, both starting games and on the bench, so we will need to be on our guard throughout to get the three points.

Galabankies continue push Annan maintained their promotion push with a 3-1 win over 10-man Berwick at Shielfield Park.

The visitors took the lead after 19 minutes when David Cox netted inside the area after good work by Ben McKenna.

Annan doubled their advantage a minute later, David Winters produced a fine long-range effort to record his fourth goal of the season.

Sean O'Connor all-but ensured victory on the hour mark when he was on hand to finish a cross from Cox.

Berwick pulled a goal back from the penalty spot 10 minutes from time, Darren Gribben converting after Steve Swinglehurst handled inside the area.
