Consider yourself picked, Oliver Bradford defender Luke Oliver is expected to return to the starting line-up against Port Vale in npower League Two.

The 6ft 7in centre-half has been sidelined with a hamstring strain since mid-January, but has only missed a couple of games as City's last two fixtures have been postponed.

But fellow defender Rob Kozluk will miss out through suspension. He was sent off for two yellow cards in last week's defeat at Bristol Rovers and serves a one-game ban.

Andrew Davies and Chris Mitchell are both able to fill in at right-back, while Marcel Seip provides manager Phil Parkinson with a third option, with Robbie Threlfall in contention for the left-back slot.

Winger Kyel Reid is expected to return to the starting line-up after recovering from a hamstring problem, but midfielder Michael Flynn is not yet ready to make his comeback following illness.

Defender Simon Ramsden is another week away from his return after recovering from a broken toe.

Gareth Owen has resumed training and is closing in on a return for Port Vale.

Owen, who has not played for just over a month since breaking his left hand, saw a specialist last week to determine whether a pin needed to be inserted to hold the bone together.

A scan showed that was not necessary and the 29-year-old centre-back is on the cusp of making his comeback, although the game at Valley Parade may come too soon for him.

Vale continue to patch up Marc Richards and Tom Pope. Richards continues to play through the pain barrier having been plagued by a troublesome ankle injury all season. The Vale captain is delaying having the operation he requires until the club's injury list begins to ease.

Fellow forward Pope marked his return from a groin injury by climbing off the bench to score the winning goal against Plymouth the last time Vale were in action on January 28. However, he has been back in the treatment room since.

Tomlinson fumble hands Bantams point Andrew Davies snatched a valuable 1-1 draw for Bradford with a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser which denied Port Vale a third successive victory.

The Bantams were heading for defeat until Deane Smalley drilled a 95th-minute corner into the goalmouth and defender Davies' close-range header slipped through the hands of goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson, through his legs and over the line.

Vale went in front after 39 minutes when Louis Dodds unleashed a superb left-footed volley which flew into the net from Sean Rigg's left-wing cross. And their solid defence were in control until Tomlinson's mistake handed the struggling hosts an unlikely point.

Bradford had the best early chance of the game, leading scorer James Hanson seeing his header well saved by Tomlinson, before the striker soon limped off with a foot injury in the 14th minute and the home side and Phil Parkinson's side missed his presence in attack.
