Championship: Burnley 2-0 Blackpool

Martin Paterson's Irish eyes were smiling as he swept Burnley to a badly-needed derby triumph and their first home win in the Championship this season.
He hit the vital opener on the hour, collecting the ball on the right and whipping in a stunning left foot curler.
Owen Coyle's side had been the better team, with enough of the ball to make more of their superiority. But they struggled to press home their advantage.
Classy Graham Alexander made sure of the victory when he smashed in a penalty after skipper Steven Caldwell had been fouled in the box at a corner, an offence spotted by the linesman.
