O'Driscoll to keep the faith Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is expected to name an unchanged side for the home clash with lowly Plymouth.

O'Driscoll has no new injury or suspension worries as his side look to close the gap on the top six, but faces a few selection headaches.

Wide midfielder James Coppinger returned to score the winner at Barnsley last week and O'Driscoll must decide whether to retain him or recall Martin Woods or Dean Shiels.

Jordan Mutch will retain his place in the squad after extending his loan spell from Birmingham for another month.

Leading goalscorer Billy Sharp and James Hayter should resume up front, while central defender Adam Lockwood, who made his second late substitute's appearance against Barnsley following a six-month injury lay-off due to a broken bone in his foot, will be named on the bench again.

Carl Fletcher faces a race to be fit for Plymouth.

Argyle's talismanic captain missed Tuesday's goalless draw with Barnsley after suffering a cut knee in the 2-0 home defeat to Blackpool.

And head coach Paul Mariner has rated Fletcher's chances of featuring at the Keepmoat Stadium as "50-50".

Chris Clark is likely to continue in the centre of midfield if Fletcher fails to prove his fitness.

Defenders Kari Arnason (hip), Richard Eckersley (ankle) and David McNamee (hamstring) look likely to miss out once again.

Chris Barker (hamstring) is also doubtful, but Craig Noone is fit again following a knee injury.

                                                    Doncaster vs Plymouth

Bradley Wright-Phillips' injury-time header gave Plymouth a vital 2-1 win over Doncaster to keep alive their Coca-Cola Championship survival hopes.

Doncaster dominated the first half and deservedly went in front in the 58th minute when James Coppinger collected James Hayter's pass before firing past Plymouth goalkeeper David Stockdale.

The Pilgrims responded by bringing on Joe Mason and the change paid dividends when he got on the end of Damien Johnson's cross to grab the equaliser.

Hayter hit the crossbar as Doncaster went in search of the winner but in the first minute of injury-time Onismor Bhasera's free-kick found Wright-Phillips and he headed home to send the visiting Green Army into raptures.

The result moved Plymouth to within three points of safety and left Doncaster six points adrift of the play-off places.

Plymouth started like a team fighting for their lives and went straight at Doncaster with Chris Clark having a shot blocked into the path of Reda Johnson who fired straight at Neil Sullivan.

Doncaster gradually began to find their rhythm and Mark Wilson had a shot saved by Stockdale before Hayter was off target after being found by John Oster's corner.

Stockdale's form has been one of the few positives for Plymouth in recent weeks and he produced another fine save with 16 minutes gone to tip Coppinger's shot around the post.

Minutes later Johnson had a header saved by Sullivan and at the other end Coppinger's cross found Hayter, but he headed wide when he should have done better.

Doncaster continued to press with Oster firing over from the edge of the box and just after the half-hour mark Stockdale made another fine save to deny the hosts.

Plymouth failed to clear their lines and the ball fell to on-loan Arsenal man Jay Emmanuel-Thomas but his shot was parried away by the keeper.

The home side finished the half on top and Hayter was off-target with another effort from 20 yards before Coppinger fired wide just before the break.

Plymouth looked bright at the start of the second-half and Wright-Phillips' cross found Clark on the edge of the box but he dragged the shot wide.

However, Doncaster quickly took control once again and Emmanuel-Thomas let fly with a rasping effort from 25 yards but Stockdale made another good save.

Moments later Emmanuel-Thomas had a header saved by Stockdale before Doncaster took the lead with 58 minutes gone.

Hayter played the ball into Coppinger and he rode a tackle before firing a half-volley past the helpless Stockdale.

Emmanuel-Thomas was causing Plymouth problems and he tried his luck with another effort from distance but the ball ran harmlessly wide.

Doncaster looked likely to get a second but with 67 minutes gone, Johnson's cross found Mason who finished well from inside the box just six minutes after coming on.

The home side responded well and Emmanuel-Thomas got on the end of a cross from Hayter but Stockdale came to Plymouth's rescue once again to tip the shot over the bar.

With 11 minutes remaining Doncaster came agonisingly close to going back in front when James O'Connor backheeled to Hayter who smashed the ball against the crossbar.
