McCulloch back for Forfar Forfar's experienced defender Mark McCulloch is over the groin problem that has kept him out for over two months and has been listed in manager Dick Campbell's squad for the visit of Airdrie.

Campbell is telling his players that he is expecting a push up the table between now and May. He said: "I am not happy with where we are and the players have been told that being second bottom represents a really disappointing return from us.

"A win over Airdrie would be a good start to putting that right. We played Montrose in a friendly in midweek to ensure that the players are not ring rusty in anyway against an Airdrie side that like to attack you constantly." Airdrie will need to shuffle things around in defence as both centre-back Rhys Devlin and left-back Paul Lovering are missing through suspension.

David Lilley is a doubt with a groin strain and his former Queen of the South colleague, striker Derek Holmes, is definitely out with an ankle problem.

Diamonds boss Jimmy Boyle is hoping for another sparkling attacking display from his men against the Loons but with a different outcome this time.

United late show steals it Airdrie left it late to complete a dramatic comeback and claim all three points after downing 10-man Forfar 3-2.

Forfar's Christopher Templeman broke the deadlock after just 15 minutes, weaving his way into the area to tap home from six yards.

The Loons doubled their advantage three minutes later as Kevin Motion seized on Graham Gibson's crossfield ball to volley beyond Paul McKane from the edge of the area.

But Sean Lynch reduced the deficit shortly before the break as he collected William McLaren's pass to coolly beat Jamie Langfield, and McLaren had the Diamonds level on the stroke of half-time, finishing Jamie Stevenson's looping cross at the near post.

Christopher Hegarty was then dismissed for a professional foul on Lynch in the 64th minute, but Stevenson was unable to make the resulting free-kick count, Langfield being equal to the task.
