Campbell to wield the axe Forfar boss Dick Campbell has promised to make changes for the clash with Annan following his side's disappointing 1-0 defeat at Stranraer last weekend.
Martyn Fotheringham returns to the squad but Marc McCulloch is ruled out.
Campbell said: "There will be changes, that's for sure. But that will give others a chance to shine.
"Every squad needs to be kept on their toes." Forfar currently lie fifth in the Third Division table, one place and one point above this weekend's opponents.
Annan boss Harry Cairney has doubts over the fitness of Bryan Gillfillan and John McBeth.
Cairney admits he is unsure whether either player will be fit for the game at Station Park, but he is prepared to delay a decision on their availability until the last possible moment.
He said: "We'll give them every chance to make it. It is not ideal that we have this uncertainty but there is nothing else we can do.
Forfar vs Annan Athletic

In-form Campbell stumps Annan Forfar battled their way to victory with a scrappy 2-1 win over Annan.
Ross Campbell edged Forfar into the lead with his 14th goal of the season, heading home from close range after Chris Templeman's cross.
The home side then doubled their advantage four minutes later through Ian Harty, who found the bottom corner from Campbell's pass.
Annan came back into the match and were guilty of wasting chances, Brian Gilfillan going close with two headers that should have tested home keeper Conor Grant.
The visitors did eventually manage to pull a goal back in the 52 minute, David Cox capitalising on a mix-up between Grant and Stephen Tulloch.
