Perry set for swansong On-loan striker Kyle Perry is set to return to parent club Nuneaton next week, meaning the game against Alfreton will be his final match for Hereford.
Midfielder Simon Hackney is another player due to leave the Bulls this week after his short-term contract was not renewed.
Striker Marlon Jackson remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Midfielder Simon Clist is pushing for a start after making a cameo as a substitute in the midweek draw with AFC Telford.
Fellow midfielder Will Evans remains doubtful with a foot injury and faces a late fitness test while Sam Clucas could return after missing the last couple of games with a knee injury.
Hereford have won only once in their last six games.
Alfreton defender Darren Kempson will face a late fitness test on a hamstring injury.
Kempson has missed the last couple of games with the knock and if he again fails to make it then Theo Streete could deputise in the heart of the Reds back four.
Manager Nicky Law has no other injuries to contend with and recent loan signing midfielder Matty Harriott is again likely to take his place in the squad. Ben Tomlinson may again spearhead the Alfreton attack after scoring in midweek with Nathan Arnold and Paul Clayton providing support.
Defender Connor Franklin is fit again after a recent bout of sickness but was an unused substitute last time out.
The Reds have terminated the contract of winger Simon Russell and he will not feature.
Alfreton have a decent record on their travels having only lost twice in their last nine league matches.
Hereford vs Alfreton Town
Last modified 09:39 21/01/13
Battling Reds bag point at Bulls Alfreton twice came from behind to continue their good recent away form with a 3-3 draw at Hereford.
The hosts went ahead in the 20th minute when recent signing Chris Sharp gave Ryan Bowman a sight of goal, and the top scorer made no mistake to tuck away his 13th goal of the season.
Nicky Law's men were back level eight minutes before half-time when Paul Clayton found the top corner with a right-footed effort from the edge of the area.
Stefan Stam then headed home Will Evans' free-kick moments before the interval to regain the advantage for Martin Foyle's side.
Bowman grabbed his second goal of the afternoon with a close-range header after the Reds had failed to clear Evans' 48th-minute corner to extend the Bulls' lead.
