Carlisle in line for second Sixfields debut Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd could give Clarke Carlisle his second Northampton debut after re-signing the experienced defender on loan from York.
Boothroyd also has forward Louis Moult available again after serving a three-match suspension, while Emyr Huws has recovered from illness ahead of the visit of Morecambe.
Carlisle was an inspirational figure during a loan spell at Sixfields last season as the Cobblers avoided relegation.
"I am absolutely delighted to have Clarke back on board," said Northampton boss Aidy Boothroyd. "He was a huge part of the squad that stayed up last season.
"Clarke is exactly who we need right now, he is exactly the right type of person and the right type of player. I am sure he will form a successful partnership with Kelvin Langmead, who I think has been outstanding so far this season. Those two know each other from last season and it is great to have them reunited." Jack Redshaw is in line to make a first-team return for Morecambe.
The former Manchester City trainee scored the Shrimps' equaliser within three minutes of coming off the bench as a second-half substitute at Gillingham on Saturday, before Deon Burton's stoppage-time winner denied Jim Bentley's side a point.
Morecambe's top goalscorer has shaken off a calf complaint, while defender Will Haining is also hoping to be involved at Sixfields.
Meanwhile, fellow defender Robbie Threlfall is back to full fitness following a thigh injury and will be looking for his first start after more than six weeks on the sidelines.
Jordan Burrow remains unavailable with a knee injury that is set to rule the striker out for around three months.
Northampton vs Morecambe

Akinfenwa leads Cobblers to success Northampton Town made it three wins on the trot after they beat Morecambe 3-0 at Sixfields.
But Cobblers were made to work hard for their victory by a well-organised Morecambe outfit before second half goals from Adebayo Akinfenwa and an own goal from Kevin Ellison swung the game their way.
Cobblers started the brighter of the two sides with Jake Robinson having a shot blocked early on, while Chris Hackett was twice off target with fierce drives. Ellison went closest to breaking the deadlock midway through the first half when he raced away but shot against the post with Lee Nicholls well beaten.
Northampton had the better of the exchanges and Hackett saw another effort flash just past the post. After the break, Andy Fleming had a shot blocked and Izak Reid blazed over before Akinfenwa put Cobblers in front in the 56th minute, heading home Ben Tozer's long throw-in.
