Norwich 0-1 Charlton: Heat is on for Glenn Roeder

The odds on Norwich boss Glenn Roeder becoming the first managerial casualty of 2009 shortened last night after his side were dumped out of the FA Cup by Charlton.
Darren Ambrose's sixth-minute goal was enough to give the tie to a Charlton side who had not won in 18 games.
Hopeless before the interval, the Canaries rallied slightly after the break.
Carl Cort forced keeper Darren Randolph into a sharp, one-handed save after 55 minutes but it did little to quell the increasingly angry mood of the Norwich faithful.
In addition to missing out on a fourth-round tie against Sheffield United, defeat also gave Norwich's relegation rivals a big shot of confidence in their battle against the drop.
Charlton skipper Mark Hudson came closest to another goal with a 61st-minute header which forced keeper David Marshall into a desperate save by his near post.
Cries of "Roeder out!" rang out on the final whistle as the pressure mounted on Norwich TV chef Delia Smith to reach for her chopping block.
