Flores confident of success Udinese striker Antonio Floro Flores firmly believes his team have what it takes to upset PAOK Salonika and reach the last 16 of the Europa League.

The Italians travel to Greece on Thursday with all to play for after last week's goalless draw in their first leg in Udine.

"We are focusing solely on this match," Flores said. "We know we will face a heated atmosphere at the Toumba Stadium and we will be ready.

"Our only thoughts are on progressing to the next round and I believe we have the quality to do so.

"The Europa League is a prestigious tournament and we really want to progress.

"We did well not to concede a goal in our opening game although we deserved more than a draw.

"It would have been great to travel to Greece with an advantage but we can nevertheless score a goal there that will allow us to advance to the next round." Udinese are again without pivotal midfielder Mauricio Isla and striker Antonio Di Natale.

Isla is sidelined with a knee injury while Di Natale, who is Serie A's top scorer with 17 goals, is out with a foot injury.

Without the pair, the Italians have struggled, especially in front of goal with Udinese having struck just once in their last three games, including last weekend's goalless draw against Cagliari.

Sunday's league result lifted Udinese to third in Serie A.

Floro Flores will lead Udinese's attack alongside Gabriel Torje on Thursday.

Udinese, coached by Francesco Guidolin, have not won away from home in Europe this season.

PAOK, meanwhile, are unbeaten in the competition and finished top of Group A with 12 points to reach the knockout round.

Laszlo Boloni's men go into the encounter on the back of Sunday's goalless result against Aris Salonika that left his side third in the Greek Super League.

PAOK can take comfort from the fact they have eliminated Udinese from European competition once before.

In the 2000-01 UEFA Cup campaign, Udinese travelled to Greece with a 1-0 advantage but lost 3-0 in the return leg to bow out of the competition.

The winners of this tie will take on AZ Alkmaar or Anderlecht in the round of 16.

Udinese run riot at PAOK Udinese marched into the last 16 of the Europa League with a 3-0 triumph at PAOK Salonika.

The Italians went into the game at the Toumbas stadium with all to play for after being held to a goalless result at home last week in the opening leg.

Danilo put Udinese ahead in the sixth minute with his first goal for the club before Antonio Floro Flores doubled the advantage after 14 minutes.

Udinese captain Maurizio Domizzi capped a terrific evening in Greece with his team's third from the penalty spot early in the second half as the Italians ended PAOK's unbeaten run in Europe this season.

The Serie A side - third in their domestic league - will take on the winner of the tie between AZ Alkmaar or Anderlecht in the next round.

Udinese were again without the team's leading scorer Antonio Di Natale as well as pivotal midfielder Mauricio Isla, both injured.

However, they enjoyed a strong start and went in front when Danilo got his head behind Giovanni Pasquale's corner - his powerful effort beating PAOK goalkeeper Dario Kresic.

The Italians continued to press forward and doubled their lead when Floro Flores' 25-yard strike towards the left corner of goal beat Kresic.

The hosts were unlucky not to cut the deficit when Bruno Cirillo's header from Pablo Garcia's cross hit the far post with Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic already beaten.

PAOK coach Laszlo Boloni made his first substitution on the half-hour mark with forward Georgios Georgiadis replacing midfielder Konstantinos Stafylidis.

The first half ended with PAOK on the attack, but Apostolos Giannou's attempt from 15 yards went just wide as the scoreline remained the same heading into the interval.

Udinese were quick out of the blocks after the restart and extended their lead in the 51st minute.

The referee pointed to the spot after Miroslaw Sznaucner brought down Floro Flores in the area.

Domizzi stepped up to take the penalty and fired towards the top right corner of goal where Kresic could not reach.

Shortly after the hour mark, Handanovic kept out Dimitrios Salgipidis' effort from the edge of the area.
