Lennox fighting fit Joe Lennox is back from illness to boost Plymouth's squad for the relegation clash with Dagenham.

Lennox narrowly missed out as Argyle marched to a resounding 4-0 victory at Accrington, but with the extra time spent recuperating, the midfielder is now vying for a starting spot.

Warren Feeney is also set to return after missing all the Pilgrims' matches in February so far with a calf problem.

On-loan Burnley striker Alex MacDonald had been touch-and-go to lead the line against Stanley but his well-taken brace is almost certain to have guaranteed him a starting berth this time out.

Goalkeeper Ollie Chenoweth has extended his loan spell with Truro City.

Carl Fletcher has the chance to open a six-point gap between his side and the bottom-placed Daggers with a second consecutive league victory.

Loan signings Jonathan Bond and Ben Reeves are set to make their Dagenham debuts in the crucial relegation clash.

Goalkeeper Bond has been brought in from Watford as short-term cover for Chris Lewington, who starts a two-match ban following his red card in the 5-0 defeat against Cheltenham last weekend. He will now compete with David Hogan to start at Home Park.

Attacking midfielder Ben Reeves has also arrived from Southampton and is in the reckoning to make his bow.

Luke Howell continued his comeback from a long-term knee injury with 45 minutes for the reserves in midweek but this weekend is expected to come too soon. Peter Gain (knee), Kevin Maher (foot) and Sam Williams (knee) remain sidelined.

Argyle frustrated in stalemate Plymouth hit the post twice after half-time but could not break the deadlock in a 0-0 draw with fellow strugglers Dagenham.

Substitute Luke Daley's first touch of the ball was to tee himself up for a superb strike from the right that bounced off the base of the far post.

Daggers keeper Jon Bond made a great save during the ensuing goalmouth scramble before ball eventually fell out to recalled Plymouth left back Robbie Williams, whose 75th minute left strike from outside the box beat Bond before the woodwork intervened again.

Argyle were left to rue a host of missed first-half opportunities. Striker Nick Chadwick fired over in the ninth minute after great work down the right from full back Paul Bignot.

On-loan Burnley striker Alex MacDonald was bundled off the ball by central defender Mark Arber as he shot wide from 10 yards in the 20th minute.

Just before half time midfielder Conor Hourihane fired over when it looked easier to score from MacDonald's superb reverse pass after the tricky striker had beaten three defenders on his way to the byline.
