QPR 2-1 Nottingham Forest: Dowie is as good as Mourinho

Akos Buzsaky reckons the critics should back off Iain Dowie - but says at least the players appreciate the Hoops boss is a bit special.
Without a Championship win since mid September and with Terry Venables linked with a Loftus Road return, the pressure on Dowie has been growing.
An indifferent opening half did little to improve the mood, with a smattering of home fans applauding Forest supporters' chant - "You're rich, but you're f****** s**t", before goals from Angelo Balanta and Buzsaky eased the pressure.
Ex Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could tell Dowie a few stories about what it takes to survive at a mega-rich club with sky high expectations.
But when it comes to man-management, Buzsaky rates Dowie as already right up there with his old Porto boss.
"They have some similarity," Buzsaky said. "Iain Dowie defends us all the time, even if you have a bad game. It's the same with Jose Mourinho - you never heard him complain about his players.
"Iain's as good as Mourinho at looking after his players like that. He is doing a great job and we've stepped forward compared to last season."
It did not look that way in the first half, as Forest - winless since August 23 and goalless since September 16 - played some neat football, with Paul Anderson and Chris Cohen drawing saves from Radek Cerny.
The combination of a half-time talking-to and QPR taking the lead three minutes after the break changed the picture, Angelo Balanta netting after Damien Delaney's long throw.
And when Fitz Hall's throw was only cleared to Buzsaky, the Hungarian lashed home.
Forest then lost their belief, but sub Lewis McGugan fired in a 25-yard stunner six minutes from time.
