County raring to end Caley Thistle rampage Derek Adams is confident his Ross County side will be able to cope with Inverness's new attacking formation when the two teams meet at Victoria Park.

Steven Watt is the only absentee as he begins a two-match suspension, with County looking to put an end to two-match winning run that has seen Saturday's visitors score nine times and concede just twice.

Speaking about Inverness's tactics, Adams said: "We will not adapt the system we play to cater for Caley Thistle. We will play as we always do and put the onus on the other team.

"We have the players to do it. We have used the system Caley Thistle have put in place ourselves many times in my tenure as manager." He added: "Training on Monday and Tuesday was exceptional. I had to stop training on Tuesday, we usually have a double session but I decided not to go ahead with it as the first session was so high tempo and I thought the players had worked hard enough.

"I am just trying to keep them at a peak for Saturday. We will work on the technical aspect of the game but in terms of motivation, when Saturday comes I am sure my team will be ready to play." Inverness boss Terry Butcher is certain there is still more to come from his free-scoring side.

He hopes to be at full strength for the trip across the Kessock Bridge and he looks set to stick with the same starting XI that brushed aside Morton 4-1 last Saturday.

Butcher said: "We're still in sixth place but we've made up some ground on the teams in front of us, so that's pleasing.

"We've now picked up 10 points out of our last 12 and it's also the first time this season that we've won successive league matches.

Inverness almost got one back in the 57th minute when Richie Foran's shot was blocked on the line by Morrison.
