Knill to keep faith with Iron men Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill is expected to name an unchanged side for the home clash with Walsall.
Knill has no new injury or suspension worries and is unlikely to tinker with a side that secured back-to-back league wins for only the second time this season at Orient on Saturday.
Club skipper Cliff Byrne (groin) and midfielder Damien Mozika (ankle) might have to wait a bit longer for their return to action after recovering from injury. Both were unused substitutes at the weekend.
Recent signings Jon Parkin, David Mirfin and Jamie Reckford look set to continue and make their third successive appearances for the club.
Midfielder Jimmy Ryan returned to full training following the recurrence of a long-term knee injury, but will not be included in the squad and another midfielder, Michael Collins (Achilles), plus strikers Connor Jennings (foot) and Matt Godden (hip) remain long-term absentees.
Dean Smith must decide whether to recall Jonathan Macken or Jimmy Walker to Walsall's XI for a second crucial clash in four days at Scunthorpe.
The pair both recovered from hamstring injuries to be named on the bench for Saturday's vital 2-0 victory over relegation rivals Wycombe.
Striker Macken in particular is now pushing for a starting role at Glanford Park against another of the Saddlers' foes in the battle to avoid the drop, although goalkeeper Walker may have to make do with a place among the substitutes after David Grof's clean sheet.
Smith could, however, opt to name an unchanged side after seeing Walsall clinch a first win in eight.
Scunthorpe vs Walsall

Cuvelier sends Saddlers soaring Walsall climbed out of the drop zone in League One as they claimed only their second away win of the season at relegation rivals Scunthorpe Belgian teenager Florent Cuvelier, on loan from Stoke, bagged the only goal of the game to dump the Iron back into the bottom four with only their second defeat in eight games.
A poor first half did not come to life until the half-hour mark when Cuvelier pounced on an error from centre-back Paul Reid but lashed his shot well wide of target.
But he made no mistake four minutes later as he broke the deadlock with his second goal in three starts, pouncing as two Scunthorpe defenders dithered on the edge of their own box before drilling an excellent shot low into the far bottom corner.
The home side pressed strongly to try and get back on level terms by half-time, with striker Jon Parkin twice going close and fellow frontman Garry Thompson missing a good chance.
Parkin fluffed a great opportunity early in the second half when he scuffed his shot inside the six-yard box.
Walsall defended well in depth to deny the home side who could not find their finishing touch in front of goal.
