Hatters at full strength Stockport manager Jim Gannon has a full complement of players to choose from when they host Newport.

Gannon named an unchanged starting XI against Kidderminster in their last league game and the continuity paid off as the Hatters extended their unbeaten run in the Blue Square Bet Premier to three games with a 2-1 win.

Goalkeeper Ian Ormson looks set to continue in goal, keeping veteran stopper Matthew Glennon on the substitutes' bench.

Jon Nolan, Martin Gritton and Aaron Cole were all introduced as replacements against Harriers and are available as options should Gannon decide to shuffle his pack.

Stockport remain hopeful that the game will take place despite the bad weather although rugby union side Sale Sharks are due to play on the Edgeley Park pitch on Friday night.

Ryan Charles and Ismail Yakubu will return to Newport's squad as they bid to move out of the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone.

Striker Charles is available again after completing a three-game ban following his dismissal against former club Luton while centre-back Yakubu has served a two-match suspension of his own.

Boss Justin Edinburgh decided to name a strong line-up against Carshalton Athletic in the FA Trophy on Tuesday and many of those who played are set to retain their place following a 4-0 triumph.

Winger Andy Sandell, who was cup-tied for that victory, is available once more should Edinburgh decide to make changes.

Rowe doubles up but Hatters denied Stockport and 10-man Newport played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the only Blue Square Bet Premier fixture of the day to beat the freeze.

The hosts took the lead after just eight minutes when Danny Rowe finished from close range.

Andy Sandell levelled shortly after the restart with a fine strike from outside of the area to record his first goal of the season.

Newport were reduced to 10 men just before the hour mark when Sandell was dismissed for foul and abusive language.

The home side doubled their advantage two minutes later, Rowe grabbing his second with a free-kick from the edge of the area.
