Connell to continue for Di Canio Swindon can strengthen their position at the top of npower League Two with victory over Accrington, but they will have to do so without Lukas Magera.

The tall Czech Republic striker has rejoined Banik Ostrava on loan until the end of the season, after notching only once in 18 appearances since arriving at the County Ground.

Substitute Alan Connell grabbed a winning brace as the Robins saw off Shrewsbury 2-1 in midweek, and will likely lead the line alongside Paul Benson, with Billy Bodin dropping to the bench.

Defender Adam Flint is a long-term concern, with his groin problem likely to sideline him for at least five more weeks.

Paolo Di Canio has overseen a run of four straight league victories, whereas struggling Accrington are winless under new boss Paul Cook and have not scored in their last three outings.

Accrington will once again be without defender Sean Hessey when they travel to Wiltshire.

Hessey had hoped to return from a troublesome hamstring injury for the midweek trip to Crewe but did not appear at Gresty Road and remains sidelined.

Ian Craney is another absentee in midfield due to pain in the ankle that he broke earlier in the season.

Boss Paul Cook has completed the loan signing of Wigan goalkeeper Lee Nicholls.

The 19-year-old will stay at the Crown Ground for an initial month and is available at the weekend.

Benson at the double for rampant Robins Paul Benson's first half double led Swindon to an easy 2-0 victory over Accrington as the League Two leaders notched a club record ninth successive league win.

Alan Connell had a shot cleared off the line by Peter Murphy in the opening seconds, but the Robins did not have to wait long for the lead as Benson rose to nod in Luke Rooney's eighth minute cross from the left wing.

Stanley almost hit back against the run of play when Padraig Amond's header from Jamie Devitt's centre rebounded off a post.

The hosts were denied by the woodwork as Matt Ritchie's long range curler smacked against the crossbar in the 24th minute.

Connell had also had a shot deflected off the bar by the time Benson rifled in his and Swindon's second shortly before the half-hour after Stanley captain Dean Winnard sliced a clearance into the striker's path.

Swindon's win would have been more emphatic but for a brilliant last minute double save from debutant Stanley goalkeeper Lee Nicholls to deny Ritchie and substitute Raffaele de Vita.
