Walsall 1-2 Peterborough: Plenty to mull over for boss

Jimmy Mullen said Walsall were "taught a lesson" as Darren Ferguson's Posh coasted to victory.

Shaun Batt's first senior goal gave Posh the lead after just 70 seconds and Ferguson's men doubled their lead through Chris Whelpdale. Tony Deeney pulled one back for Walsall.

Boss Mullen said: "We were taught a lesson, but it's all part of the learning curve. I'm confident this will only be a blip."
