Abdoulaye Faye: Stoke floodlights cost us victory

Stoke skipper Abdoulaye Faye blamed the Britannia floodlights for his failure to score the winner.
Potters stopper Faye, 31, blew a great chance to beat Wolves as he poorly headed over in the closing stages.
And he said: “Normally because it was a good ball I would score.
“But because of the light I had a problem - I didn’t see the ball.
“I struggle in the light - I am very disappointed.”
Senegalese ace Faye cut a despondent figure at the end after the home side blew a 2-0 lead to draw as Jody Craddock netted from two set plays.
Faye added: “Last year we did very well and scored a lot from set pieces but this season we seem to have a problem.
“In our mind we probably thought we would win this game and that is why football is crazy.
“Beattie was supposed to be marking Craddock.
“He did very well but what happened is just football.”
