Here's his take on the Premier League weekend...
"At this stage of the season, the league table is beginning to take shape, tactics have been bedded down and managers have a good knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of their squads, and I am not predicting any surprises in the majority of the games this week.
"For that reason, I see Arsenal and Liverpool, two teams that have improved in recent weeks, being too strong for Stoke and Fulham. Arsenal are always quick starters at the Emirates and I would expect to see them ahead early.
"The big game of the weekend is at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have had a terrible few weeks and will be desperate for a win over the leaders. It's a tough call, but I have gone for Manchester United to win. They are unbeaten all season and off the back of a huge win over Arsenal on Monday.
"Although neither side has been at their best, United are grinding out results and this is a good time to go to Chelsea. If I am right, the impact on both clubs, and the season, will be massive.
"Spurs are playing good football, and the game at Blackpool will be entertaining, no doubt about it. But Spurs will be very confident, and I think they will have too much for the Seasiders.
"I like Birmingham over Newcastle. Birmingham are well organised and strong at home and Newcastle, despite a good win last week, have not travelled well in recent weeks.
"It has been a tough week for fans of Blackburn and Man City, and it will be interesting to see how both teams react. Avram Grant desperately needs a win and will travel with high hopes that the departure of Big Sam will disrupt Blackburn, but I think that the home team will want to put on a good show for their fans and I see them as comfortable winners.
"Everton are tough opponents for City, who have learnt heavily on Carlos Tevez for goals this season, and I can see this one being a draw. Look out for some lively challenges and a red card in this one."
