Amkar sack Dimitrov

Struggling Russian Premier Liga club Amkar Perm have sacked manager Dimitar Dimitrov following a string of poor results.
Amkar, who finished fourth in the league last term to qualify for the Europa League, have slipped to 13th in this season's standings - just a point ahead of the relegation places with 10 games to play.
Monday night's 2-1 home defeat to Spartak Nalchik, who are below them in the table, proved to be the final straw for the club's board.
Bulgarian Dimitrov took over in January after previous coach Miodrag Bozovic, who led the club to their highest-ever league finish the previous season, moved to FC Moscow.
Amkar have lost five of their last six matches and were knocked out of the Europa League at the first hurdle last week by Fulham despite winning the second leg of their play-off tie 1-0.
Senior coach Aleksi Zhelyazkov will take charge of first-team affairs until a replacement is found.
