Anton Ferdinand staying at Sunderland insists Niall Quinn

Niall Quinn has issued a hands-off warning over Anton Ferdinand - insisting that the defender can fulfil his England ambitions at Sunderland.
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is an admirer of the 24-year-old who signed for £8million less than a year ago.
Despite speculation Ferdinand may return to London, Quinn said that, backed by the cash of new owner Ellis Short, boss Steve Bruce is under no pressure to sell his stars. The Black Cats chairman claims the under-21 star can press for a place as a full international alongside brother Rio.
He said: "People have made enquiries about our players but we're not going to drastically overhaul the squad. When Anton matures, he has the opportunity to be an international footballer."
Bruce is ready to splash his budget on Spurs' Darren Bent, Lee Cattermole of Wigan, Manchester City's Richard Dunne and Chilean Humberto Suazo.
