Arsene Wenger insistshe has no intention of walking out on Arsenal at the end of the season.
An interview with Wenger published by French newspaper L'Equipe at the weekend forced the Gunners' manager onto the defensive, and he suggested his comments in it had been misinterpreted.
Arsenal showed no signs of uncertainty as they beat Norwich, to continue their recent unbeaten run ahead of Wednesday's Champions League date with Borussia Dortmund.
And Wenger, who has been at the helm since September 1996, attempted to reassure fans further as he maintained he is going nowhere.
The 62-year-old, who has been linked with moneybags Paris Saint-Germain and the imminent England vacancy, said: "I have a few more years to go.
"It was a little sentence, if you read well, but I will stay and that's it.
"I can only speak for me - the club can decide to get rid of me tomorrow morning and I cannot interfere with that decision - but I am totally committed here and I will show you that at the end of the season."
Arsenal will qualify for the knock-out phase of the Champions League with a game in hand if they beat the German champions at the Emirates.
Wenger is without Bacary Sagna, Carl Jenkinson and Kieran Gibbs, as well as long-term injury victim Jack Wilshere. Laurent Koscielny is expected to continue at right back.
The Arsenal chief added: "I wanted just to say that this is the club of my life.
"I have a contract that I will honour and the only way I would one day consider leaving is if I feel I have not done well enough for the club.
"You cannot say you love the club and have a start like we had then ignore it. That is just what I wanted to say.
"There is no mixed message in there. My commitment and love for this club is total.
"The only way I would consider my future is if I was not doing well enough for the club."
While Robin Van Persie was rested for the home draw with Marseille at the start of the month, the in-form Dutch striker - who has scored a remarkable 31 goals in 29 appearances in 2011 - is expected to start against Dortmund.
Wenger wants qualification assured before the tricky trip to Greek side Olympiacos next month - and memories of last season's last-16 clash with eventual winners Barcelona means he will want his side to ensure top spot if they can.
