Vorm: Arsenal have no confidence

Swansea keeper Michel Vorm claims teams are no longer scared of Arsenal.
Vorm dropped a clanger to throw away three points at the Emirates but reckons the only intimidating thing about Arsenal is their stadium.
And the Dutchman rates Manchester City as being in a different league having been on the receiving end of a 4-0 thrashing last month.
Vorm said: “I think the stadium was scary.
“You come inside and think, ‘OK, 60,000 people’ and the atmosphere was great. But they play with no confidence and with new players it’s hard for them to fill in the places.
“I think Arteta did well, but although I think they have the quality they don’t have the confidence. I loved to watch Arsenal and the way they played a couple of years ago.
“I hope it is going to get better and I think it will come.
“Manchester City have the confidence – and the money. I think that is the difference. They have a group of 22 or 23 players who are all world class.
“I think Arsenal have a lot of young players and Man City have a lot of experience.
“Arsenal feel a lot of pressure, including from the crowd. It’s not easy to play here but it was a good lesson for us.”
Swansea have yet to score in four games and that made Vorm’s error even more costly.
His throw-out hit Angel Rangel and fell to Andrey Arshavin to fire home but the Swansea keeper did not say sorry to his team-mates.
Vorm added: “It’s the same thing as a striker missing a chance, although it is different for a keeper in that if you make a mistake they kill you.
“I didn’t apologise in the dressing-room. It’s never good to make a mistake like this but we win together and we lose together.”
