Arsenal's Champions League hero Nicklas Bendtner is a £5million January target for Spartak Moscow.
The Russians see the Danish forward as a replacement for Roman Pavlyuchenko following his £14m move to Spurs.
Bendtner, 20, came off the bench to smash a late winner against Dinamo Kiev on Tuesday.
Spartak's Danish coach Michael Laudrup is a big admirer of Bendtner and the Russia media claim the club is willing to pay £4m to £5m.
Leading Russian daily Tvoi Den claimed Spartak could even push for a sixmonth loan deal and move for an outright transfer next summer. Bendtner is friends with Laudrup's oldest son Mads. The pair played together in the Denmark youth team.
Arsenal are tracking highly-rated winger Francis Boadi, 17, who starred for Ghana in last year's Under-17 World Cup.
