Arsenal plan record bid for Carlos Tevez

ARSENAL are lining up a stunning bid for Manchester United's loan star Carlos Tevez.
Friends of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claim he is confident of brokering a deal that will shatter Arsenal's £11million transfer record for Sylvain Wiltord and lure the Argentine star to the Emirates next summer.
Tevez, 24, joined United on a two-year loan deal costing £5million in the summer of 2007. His Old Trafford deal runs out next June. United have still not ratified a permanent Tevez deal that will cost them £32million.
Following the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham in a £31million deal last summer, Tevez has fallen down the Old Trafford pecking order.
There have been suggestions that United are cooling on a permanent Tevez deal. Real Madrid have already taken note of that scenario.
Tevez will discuss his future with adviser Kia Joorabchian - who is an executive box holder at the Emirates.
