Meanwhile, Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky has urged hat-trick hero Theo Walcott to ignore his critics - and just play his football.
Walcott scored a brilliant treble against Blackpool on Saturday and yet Match of the Day pundit Alan Hansen claimed he did not have a "football brain."
But Rosicky insists that Walcott, 21, should ignore his detractors as he can help Arsenal launch a serious title bid this season.
Rosicky said: "I just hope he will not play football to answer his critics or something. I think the best way is to go out and enjoy his football - that's always what worked for me.
"Let's go out and enjoy the game and I think he enjoyed it [against Blackpool]."
Rosicky is also on the way back to fitness himself after an injury-plagued two seasons and his start against Blackpool was his first since April.
Czech international Rosicky says his pre-season has helped him regain his best form but he also believes Arsenal will be given a true test of their title ambitions at Blackpool on Saturday.
Rosicky said: "That was always what I was missing. I've completed a whole pre-season, I've got a good base, I feel well and hope that will continue.
"Last season, I think we lost there (Blackburn). We know it will be a completely different game but if you want to be title contenders - which I think we are - we have to win there."
