Arsenal's title ambitions have been dealt a major blow with the news that Robin Van Persie has been ruled out for six weeks.
The Dutchman injured his ankle against Blackburn on August 28 and it's now been confirmed that he will now be out of action until the middle of next month.
But Arsene Wenger has received some good news on the injury front with Samir Nasri recovering well from knee surgery.
Nasri is ahead of schedule in his recovery after the Frenchman sustained a meniscal injury against Liverpool on the opening day of the season.
The 23-year-old was expected to be sidelined for a month but Nasri will return to full training in the next few days.
