Arsenal set to offer Fabregas £30million contract to ward off Barcelona and Real

Arsenal will offer Cesc Fabregas a new five-year deal that will make him the highest paid player in their history.

Despite having three years to run on his ­current contract, the Gunners board will sanction a £120,000 a-week deal to ensure the 22-year-old Spaniard stays at The ­Emirates.

Arsenal hope the lure of a £30million contract will ensure ­Fabregas rejects overtures from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
