Wenger hails 'strong' Koscielny signing

Arsenal have signed 24-year-old centre-back Laurent Koscielny from French club Lorient.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said: “He is mentally strong, he’s a fighter and a very strong competitor.”

The fee has not been revealed but Koscielny is believed to have cost around £10million.

The defender is also delighted about completing the move which was uncovered first by MirrorFootball back in May.
