Victor Moses and James McCarthy are back training for Wigan but are unlikely to return for tomorrow's trip to Arsenal.
Moses (shoulder) and McCarthy (ankle) have been long-term casualties at the DW Stadium but could return for next weekend's FA Cup clash with Bolton.
Franco Di Santo made a substitute appearance against Fulham last weekend after an ankle injury and could play a part at the Emirates.
Chris Kirkland was unavailable for the Fulham game after a head injury and it remains to be seen if boss Roberto Martinez will start him ahead of Ali Al Habsi, while Tom Cleverley (hamstring) remains out.
Provisional squad: Al Habsi, Pollitt, G Caldwell, Gohouri, Stam, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Diame, McArthur, Thomas, N'Zogbia, McManaman, Rodallega, Lopez, Gomez, S Caldwell, Robinson, Boyce, De Ridder, Golobart, Mustoe, Kirkland, Di Santo.
