Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has pleaded with clubs to keep the lawyers out of football.
The Gunners chief reckons Sheffield United and West Ham's court battle over the Carlos Tevez affair sets a dangerous precedent.
Wenger said: "All of the clubs should agree not to challenge the rulings of football's governing bodies. In sport we need quick decisions but this has been going on for two years.
"The power has to stay within the game. We cannot have every decision challenged in the civil courts.
"It is better to make footballers rich than lawyers rich."
