Arsene Wenger has ruled out Freddie Ljungberg returning to Arsenal.
Gunners legend Ljungberg was at Arsenal's win over Stoke on Saturday and would like to return to Europe during the MLS close season.
Ljungberg, now at Seattle Sounders, has spoken about the possibility of copying David Beckham and moving to a European club on loan.
Swedish veteran Ljungberg is believed to want to train in Europe but Wenger says there is no chance of that with Arsenal.
Wenger said: 'I saw Freddie, we had a chat and he was with us in the dressing room.
'But he didn't ask me about training with us so that will not happen.
'He is doing very well in the US but that doesn't surprise me. He's a very good player.'
