N'Zogbia injury only adds to McLeish's woes

Alex McLeish has warned things could get a lot worse for Aston Villa before they get better.
Winger Charles N’Zogbia has gone to France to try and solve a knee problem which could keep him out for up to four weeks.
The £9.5million man was boss McLeish’s big summer signing but has been a major disappointment.
McLeish said: “I certainly don’t need N’Zogbia’s injury. He collided with Gary Gardner in training. Charles was on decent form. I thought he was gaining a bit of momentum.
“He’s going to get specialist attention in Paris. We think it’s a medial knee ligament problem, maybe three or four weeks.”
And McLeish had little good news regarding summer spending either.
“There’ll be a bit of prudence,” he added. “We still have to get to a level where [chairman] Randy Lerner wants the wages.
“We have to get to that level and build from there.”
