Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill ready to swoop on Daniel Sturridge

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is planning a major swoop on top-four rivals Manchester City for young striker Daniel Sturridge.

Villa chief O'Neill wants to beat long-term admirers Chelsea in the chase for the teenage hitman (above), who is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave for a cut-price fee.
