Aston Villa join battle for Miguel Veloso

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has entered the battle to sign Miguel Veloso after Bolton's £8million bid for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder failed.
That has alerted Villa who are monitoring developments with 23-year-old Veloso, who can either play in defence or central midfield.
Veloso wants his future decided and said: "I am prepared to move abroad - but I don't want things in doubt for the entire summer."
