Aston Villa move to beat Sunderland to Younes Kaboul

Aston Villa have made a late bid to hijack Younes Kaboul's move to Sunderland.
Villa boss Martin O'Neill is anxious to bolster his squad before Saturday's InterToto Cup second leg game at home to OB Odense.
Villa were forced to field a makeshift backline for the 2-2 draw in Denmark as they have no recognised right-back and only two fit centre-halves.
French stopper Kaboul is available at around £5million and has asked for more time to consider a switch to Sunderland.
