Villa loan out defender Lowry

Millwall are signing Aston Villa centre-half Shane Lowry on loan for the rest of the year.

The 22-year-old Australia international will be asked to help the Championship side kick-start their faltering season.

Lowry is looking to put himself in the shop window, as Villa may allow him to leave permanently in January.
