Barcelona 0-0 Man United: Ronaldo promises revenge

Cristiano Ronaldo last night vowed to make amends for the penalty boob which cost Manchester United a Champions League win.
Ronaldo's spot-kick horror also denied Sir Alex Ferguson's men an away goal at Barcelona's Nou Camp - but the United ace insisted: "I know that I will score in the return game in Manchester next Tuesday.
"I didn't change my style for taking the penalty. I've scored in that top corner before this season.
"But I don't understand why the referee didn't give us a second penalty when I was brought down later in the first half. We defended very well and 0-0 away from home is a good result. We know we can win the tie at Old Trafford and I expect us to."
Fergie revealed his pride at the way his players coped under pressure in Barca's Nou Camp in front of 98,000 fans.
He said: "I'm pleased we kept a clean sheet. It was a professional performance and I just hope the penalty miss is not decisive. The game now starts at Old Trafford and I'm confident we can make it through."
As revealed by Mirror Sport, Nemanja Vidic was absent after being rushed to hospital on Tuesday night with a stomach bug.
And Fergie does not expect him to be fit in time for Saturday's Premier League showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which is a potential title decider.
