Barnsley boss Mark Robins to bid £500,000 for Rochdale forward

Barnsley boss Mark Robins is ready to bid for Rochdale's highly-rated young attacker Will Buckley - and win the £500,000 race for his signature.

Six-footer Buckley has caught the eye since making the first team and now a deal could be tied up for the versatile forward who is 20 later this week.

Robins is looking for more firepower and wants to take the Dale youngster for his improving Championship side, setting up a loan deal with a view to a full-time switch in the New Year.
