Colace set to re-sign for Barnsley after snubbing Palace

Barnsley are re-signing Argentinian star Hugo Colace - after he walked out on talks with Crystal Palace and took a taxi back to Yorkshire in a huff.

Midfielder Colace, the club's player of the year, had caught a cab to London to sort out terms with George Burley's club at the weekend.

But Colace was unhappy when the deal was not offered to him quickly enough and headed back to Oakwell to thrash out a salary with them - with his round trip costing around £600 in taxi fares.
