The pressure remains on Louis van Gaal after Bayern Munich drew 1-1 with leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Van Gaal has been in the spotlight following Bayern's poor form both domestically and in the Champions League, with progress to the knockout stages in severe doubt.
Mario Gomez gave the hosts an early lead but it lasted just six minutes before Stefan Kiessling levelled for Leverkusen, who leapfrogged Werder Bremen at the top of the table.
The draw was Bayern's sixth of the season and the only positive was they moved above Wolfsburg into seventh spot.
Dennis Grote's second-half goal gave Bochum a surprise victory at Hamburg to snap a four-game losing streak and gain three crucial points in the fight against relegation.
Grote scored his first of the season in the 77th minute to leave Hamburg without a win in five games.
