Birmingham City braced for backdated tax bill

Birmingham are braced for a backdated tax bill - but expect to avoid further police probes into their finances.
Blues managing director Karren Brady, 39, and joint-majority shareholder David Sullivan, 59, are fuming about being arrested and quizzed last week for over five hours.
Despite being released without charge, their high-profile arrests on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting has plunged them into the crackdown on football corruption by London's economic crime unit.
But the embattled pair are confident their explanations into single one-off payments to Senegalese duo Aliou Cisse and Ferdinand Coly will clear them of any wrong-doing.
