Birmingham line up January move for Wigan striker

Alex McLeish has put Wigan’s Colombian forward Hugo Rodallega on his wish list of potential January signings.
Birmingham’s manager, promised up to £40million to spend in the window by new owner Carson Yeung, has made no secret that a striker is his top priority.
But he wants to bring in a player with Premier League experience rather than gamble on an untried European.
Rodallega, capped 31 times, has hit seven goals this season after being discovered by former boss Steve Bruce playing in Mexico.
The pace and power of the 24-year-old would blend with fellow South American Christian Benitez.
Wigan would be reluctant sellers, but a bid of about £8million could force a sale.
