Birmingham are close to bringing ex-Arsenal youngster Quincy Owusu-Abeyie back to England.
Blues boss Alex McLeish is a big fan of the attacking Dutch-born Ghanaian star, who plays for Spartak Moscow. And McLeish is trying to secure Owusu-Abeyie, 22, who can play up front or on the wing, on loan with a view to a £3.5million switch.
City's hopes of landing Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson are fading as the England Under-21 ace wants to go to QPR. But they may still make an improved £2m offer.
