Paul Ince was involved in a tunnel bust-up with Tottenham coach Joe Jordan after defeat left Blackburn in the relegation mire.
Blackburn boss Ince confronted Jordan at half-time and accused him of trying to get Rovers defender Andre Ooijer sent off.
Ince, who had Swedish defender Martin Olsson redcarded in the first half, said: "Joe Jordan was talking to the referee about Andre Ooijer and Aaron Lennon, (saying) he kicked him two or three times.
"We'd already got a man sent off and he's trying to get another sent off. It's part and parcel of football, it's a heated game and we all want to win."
It is the second time in a fortnight that Ince has been involved in a touchline row after confronting Chelsea assistant boss Ray Wilkins after Blackburn's defeat at Ewood Park.
Boss Harry Redknapp, delighted with his team's win, insisted man-of-thematch Lennon deserves an England recall.
Redknapp said: "If he carries on playing like that he can get back into the England frame, for sure."
