Blackburn eyeing Greek defender Giourkas Seitaridis

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is ready to move for Atletico Madrid's Greek international right back Giourkas Seitaridis, 27.

Allardyce's spies will watch highly-rated Seitaridis against Barcelona in a Spanish Cup tie tonight and could take the plunge for him in a loan deal with a view to a buy.

The Rovers chief is reeling after failing to land Wigan's Ryan Taylor and Benfica's Ivory Coast ace Marc Zoro.
