Blackburn join Wigan in race for striker Cristian Benitez

Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince is joining the chase for Ecuador striker Cristian Benitez - and will take on Wigan for his signature.
Ince is sending his top scout to watch the little goalscorer in action for Mexican club Santos Laguna this weekend and Rovers are poised to make an offer.
But Steve Bruce has revealed the striker will be Wigan's top January target.
Rovers have struggled to score this season and Ince wants to revamp his squad.
He has cash in the bank faces the possibility of Roque Santa Cruz leaving.
Ince is also checking out Austrian giant Marc Janko.
